Budha says “Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment.”
a year back, at India Gate

just remembering the last summer, in 2012 where in Delhi waiting for my family to join me. Lots of things todo? all pending.. nothing is working out the way we planned. And had left little money , no tickets to go, friends are having busy schedules…… That summer was too heat for me in many-ways. Can’t forget

Nizamuddin Dargah

Nizamuddin Dargah

“Divine bounty does not discriminate between one individual and another. When the sun rises, it gives light and warmth to all people whether living in palaces or in huts. When it rained, the poor and rich alike are benefitted from it. Once, sheikh Mu’inuddin Chishti of Ajmer was asked to explain the highest form of religious devotion which endeared man to God. He said: “Develop river-like generosity, sun like bounty and earth like hospitality”. from Hazrat Nizamuddin Aulia’s post

Every five to seven in the evening the dargah comes to life, especially every Thursday when this place has a fair like atmosphere. On special days like the biennial ‘Urs’ of Hazrat Nizamuddin and Eid people throng here from all over the world to absorb the Sufiana teachings he imparted.

Silences

Silence is a source of great strength. : Lao Tzu

Never be bullied into silence.  Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one’s definition of your life; define yourself.; Harvey Fierstein

After silence, that which comes nearest to expressing the inexpressible is music.; Aldous Huxley

All other knowledge are only petty and trivial knowledge; the experience of silence alone is the real and perfect knowledge. – Ramana Maharshi
